Using Dapr for AI but not only

Dapr has become a widely adopted technology and has been successfully used in production environments for several years. Its comprehensive set of building blocks, including pub/sub messaging, state management, and service invocation (among others), simplifies the development of distributed applications. These capabilities also provide a solid foundation for building durable, reliable AI agents and supporting various orchestration patterns, while delegating much of the underlying complexity to the framework.

By the end of this session, participants will understand how Dapr’s building blocks can be combined to design, deploy, and orchestrate durable and reliable AI agents on AKS using Azure OpenAI. They will also be able to assess when Dapr is a good fit for their own agentic AI architectures.

Dapr est aujourd’hui un framework largement adopté et éprouvé depuis plusieurs années dans des environnements de production. Ses composantes fondamentales telles que la messagerie pub/sub, la gestion d’état et l’invocation de services, simplifient le développement d’applications distribuées et constituent également une base solide pour concevoir des agents d’IA durables et fiables. Au cours de cette session, nous passerons brièvement en revue les principaux composants de Dapr avant d'approfondir la création d’agents durables, déployés sur AKS et consommant les modèles d'Azure OpenAI.
